ISO 9001
SCHÜTZ ELSA, S.A. de C.V., is certified in ISO 9001:1994 since 1996, in 2003 it obtained ISO 9001:2000, in 2010 it obtained ISO 9001:2008 and in 2018 it obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification, having Lloyd’s Register LR how certification’s house.
KOSHER Certification
The Maguen David, A.C. community certifies SCHÜTZ ELSA, S.A. de C.V. manufacturing plants on a yearly basis, including the manufacturing process and the composition of all raw materials. It certifies that our containers may be used to store Kosher food products and bear the community's KMD stamp.
UN Certification
SCHÜTZ ELSA, S.A. de C.V. certifies its products yearly before the Sociedad Mexicana de Normalización y Certificación, S.C. (NORMEX) [Mexican Society of Standardization and Certification]. In case of IBCs (container), they are certified yearly by TEN-E in the United States of America.
Transportation validation by means of:
Ground Transportation: Federal Road Transportation Bureau. Sea Transportation: Merchant Marine Bureau. Air Transportation: Civil Aviation Bureau.
Clean Industry
SCHÜTZ ELSA, S.A. de C.V. voluntarily certifies its manufacturing processes every two years before the Federal Office of Environmental Protection (PROFEPA) through environmental audits. Not only does this guarantee effective compliance with legislation, it also improves efficiency in its manufacturing processes, its environmental performance and its competitiveness. The polyethylene container, metal cutting and pressing, steel manufacture and IBC (container) reconditioning processes are certified every two years.
Quality and Food Safety Policy
SCHÜTZ ELSA S.A DE C.V. manufactures packaging for the industrial sector. Our Quality Management System is based on the ISO 9001 standard and is applicable to all of the company's production plants, and our Food Safety Management System based on FSSC 22000 is applicable to products manufactured at Plant 1, including IBCs, PE drums and jerrycans. We are also committed to complying with the applicable legal framework and with all voluntarily acquired commitments. We recognize that our employees, their competence and communication with all interested parties are key to continuous improvement and the fulfillment of our objectives.
